Revash
Tombs built like small red and cream houses in a recess of a limestone cliff.
A village for the dead
At Revash the Chachapoya built tombs that look like houses, with gabled roofs and windows shaped like crosses, squares and the letter T. They stand in a long recess under an overhang.
The tombs held the bundled remains of many people. They were looted long ago, but the buildings are well preserved.
